Sufism
In Sufism, there is a principle called Khalwat dar-Anjuman, which means isolation within the crowd. This is where you focus on yourself and make silent Zikr whilst not being distracted by those around you, i.e being with people on the outside and with Allah inside.
Nothing you love is lost. Not really.
Things, people , they always go away, sooner or later.
You can’t hold them, any more than you can hold moonlight.
But if they’ve touched you, if they’re inside you, then they’re still yours.
The only things you ever really have are the ones you hold inside your heart.

Cry when you must | Cry when you must
|
Cry when you feel your heart breaking. Cry when you see others suffering. Cry when you see injustice. Cry when memories take your breath away. Cry when a situation overwhelms you. Cry when you discover the unexpected beauty in another person. Cry when you give your daughter away on the day of her wedding. Cry when your son shows you he is someone to be proud of. Cry when you hold your grandchild for the first time. Cry. Because tears are not a weakness, it shows sympathy, empathy and caring. Cry because tears wash the dust of everyday life from your soul. Cry. For when you hold back your tears, your heart drowns.
